What's new for leaders and responders

We're releasing a new version of our platform with some great improvements that you'll be able to see the next time you log in to Joyous from Monday August 16th.

Have a look below to see how we're making it even easier to have open conversations in your organization.

🌿 Even more natural conversations

The interface is more like other chat apps you use in your daily life. Having conversations with your team members is even easier.

The notification bell icon shows conversations where a leader hasn't replied yet. It's also much easier to copy text out of conversations.

🔍 Filter by actual question text

Want to see what your team members are saying about a specific question? We've made it even easier to filter by typing in the text of the question you're looking for.

🎯 Focus on one conversation at a time

Responding to team members allows you to focus on one conversation at a time. This makes it easier to keep your place when working through the feed.

🆕 You control when new conversations appear

A button appears when there are new messages, and you get to choose when you want to load them. This makes it easier to keep your place when working through the feed.

Don't worry, conversations still update live when you have them open to work on.

🦘 Easily jump between team member and leader view

It's easy for leaders to switch between conversations with their team members, and their own conversations.

🔬 More detail on Insights

The sentiment breakdown gives counts as well as percentages. The grey area of the donut chart shows the non-participation rate, as well as the total number of ratings.

This helps when deciding where to focus your energy. For example, a low score with a large non-participation rate or low total number of ratings means the score is from a small group. Even if it is the lowest score, it might not be the most valuable thing to focus on.

All these figures respond to any filters you enter, so you can drill down to get insights from specific areas of your organization.

You can also filter Insights by question.

⚙️ More options on Heatmaps

Colors on Heatmaps reflect the difference between each average score and the overall column. The overall column can show the average for the Heatmap, or the average for your whole organization.

This shows which groups scores are significantly over or under other groups, or the rest of the organization.

As well as average scores, you can also set Heatmaps to display counts of conversations started, and response rates for rated questions.

All these figures respond to any filters you enter, so you can drill down to get insights from specific segments of your workforce.
